Welcome to Hidden Beauty, a professional, independent Beauty, Skin & Nail studio built upon more than 20 years of experience within the beauty industry, further education and professional client care.

My career began in Beauty Therapy and naturally progressed into education, where I spent many years working as a Beauty Therapy Lecturer within Further Education. During this time, I taught, trained and supported aspiring beauty professionals as they developed the practical skills, knowledge and confidence required to enter the industry.

Alongside teaching, I have extensive experience of managing busy, client-facing college salons, maintaining a healthy and consistent clientele while overseeing professional treatments, student development and industry standards.

From Education to Hidden Beauty

As my career developed, I reached a point where I wanted to bring together everything I had gained through beauty therapy, education, client management and skin expertise and create something of my own.

Hidden Beauty has allowed me to do exactly that.

My studio focuses on providing a professional yet personal experience, with treatments delivered on a one-to-one basis and tailored to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

My treatment portfolio spans Beauty • Skin • Nails, including professional nail services, pedicures, brows, lash treatments and waxing, alongside an extensive range of advanced and professional skin treatments.

Professional Skin Treatments

Skin has become a particularly important part of the direction of Hidden Beauty.

As a Dermalogica Professional Expert, I offer results-driven, aesthetically focused skin treatments designed around the condition, concerns and goals of each individual client's skin.

Treatments range from customised Dermalogica ProSkin treatments and professional resurfacing through to:

My approach is not simply about providing a facial. It is about understanding the skin, selecting the appropriate treatment pathway and helping clients invest in the long-term condition and health of their skin.

Experience Meets Education

Education has always been a huge part of my professional identity, and although my career has evolved away from traditional Further Education, teaching is something I intend to continue.

With two degrees within Teaching & Education, my future vision for Hidden Beauty includes providing individual 1-to-1 education and training opportunities for those wishing to develop professional beauty skills but who may find that traditional FE timetables or classroom environments do not suit their personal, family or working commitments.

My aspiration is to create a more flexible and personal route to professional development, with opportunities to work towards recognised certification and achievement where appropriate.

It allows me to combine two areas I am extremely passionate about, professional beauty and professional education.

The Hidden Beauty Ethos

Hidden Beauty represents the next chapter of more than two decades within this industry.

It brings together my experience as a Beauty Therapist, Lecturer, Educator, Client Manager, Dermalogica Professional Expert and independent business owner, all within a private setting where quality, knowledge and individual care remain at the centre of every service.

Whether you visit for your nails, beauty maintenance, a professional skin treatment or, in the future, education, my aim is for you to receive a service backed by experience, knowledge and genuine professional care.

The Diary

how it works

Booking Windows

plan ahead

The diary runs one month in advance from the first of the month prior. For example, January diary pages open for booking from the 1st of December.

SPMU brows are subject to this too, where they run two calendar months ahead.

Evening Appointments

book early

To prevent any disappointment, most evening appointments usually carry a 2 to 3 week waiting cycle. As soon as the cycle breaks, appointments are quickly taken and hard to access again.

If evenings are the only times that suit your personal commitments, get your next appointment booked in before leaving the studio.

When Booking Your Appointments

wish lists welcome

Please be sure you're messaging with full wish lists of desired treatments so I can ensure I'm giving you the essential time you require. Let me know if you need soak offs or nail art so I can attach a little longer for you.
