Everything you need to know before your appointment.
Bookings can be made by direct messaging, and all appointments will be confirmed & secured using the Fresha booking system.
You will be required to send your full name, e-mail address & mobile number for booking confirmation.
New clients, or new treatments for existing clients, will be sent consultation forms required for completion prior to your appointment, specific to the treatment you're planning to receive.
On receipt of all appointments made, you are accepting the cancellation policy. Please take note of this policy.
Cancellations & reschedules require 24-hour notice or you will be subject to 50% of the scheduled service charge.
Appointments that are missed with no notice given, a no call / no show, will result in a charge of the full price of the scheduled service. This must be paid before making a new appointment.
48 hours' notice is required to cancel or amend any semi-permanent make-up appointments. If you fail to make contact to amend these bookings, you will lose any pre-paid booking fee and won't be able to make further bookings until a new non-refundable booking fee has been processed.
When you book your appointment, Fresha will always notify you of the cancellation & no-show policy. This policy is in place to protect the business. If you need to cancel, there is absolutely no harm, it can be done via Fresha or just by popping over a message.
To secure your Skin Treatment appointment at Hidden Beauty & Lorraine, a booking deposit is required at the time of reservation.
Your deposit secures the dedicated time within my diary for your treatment and will be deducted from the remaining treatment balance on the day of your appointment.
Booking deposits are as follows:
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Where more than 48 hours' notice is provided, your booking deposit may be transferred once to a rearranged appointment, subject to availability.
Cancellations or significant appointment changes made with less than 48 hours' notice, or failure to attend your appointment, will result in the booking deposit being retained. A new booking deposit will be required to secure any future appointment.
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for the treatment you have selected.
If you decide to cancel, remove or significantly reduce your booked treatment within 48 hours or on the day of your appointment, this may be treated as a late cancellation and your deposit may be retained in accordance with the cancellation policy.
Where a change is recommended by me following your professional skin consultation due to treatment suitability or contraindications, this will be handled separately and an appropriate alternative will be discussed with you.
Some advanced treatments require pre treatment consultation, preparation and specific aftercare.
Please ensure all required consultation and consent forms are completed before your appointment and that you have followed any pre treatment instructions provided.
Payment of your booking deposit confirms that you have read and accepted Hidden Beauty & Lorraine's booking and cancellation terms.
By purchasing the Pro Microneedling Course of 3, you are committing to a package of three treatments at the discounted course price of £360, reduced from the standard combined price of £420.
A £60 deposit is required when booking your first treatment to secure the package. The remaining balance will be payable at £100 per treatment across your three appointments, bringing the total package payment to £360.
The £60 deposit is specific to this Pro Microneedling package and cannot be transferred, exchanged or credited towards any other treatment, beauty service, skincare treatment, retail product or alternative package offered at Hidden Beauty.
All three treatments must be completed within 6 months of the date of your first Pro Microneedling appointment. Any unused treatments remaining after this period will expire, unless an extension has been agreed by Hidden Beauty due to exceptional circumstances.
Appointments remain subject to Hidden Beauty's standard booking and cancellation policy. Late cancellations, rescheduling and non-attendance may result in the relevant appointment being treated as used or charges being applied in accordance with the studio's cancellation policy.
Microneedling is subject to consultation and suitability. Clients must complete all required consultation and consent documentation and follow the advised pre and post treatment skincare requirements. If your skin or health circumstances change during your course, please inform Hidden Beauty before your next appointment.

December is one of the busiest times of the year at Hidden Beauty. As a solo practitioner, every appointment is carefully allocated according to the treatments and time you have reserved.
To keep my diary running smoothly and fairly for everyone, the following December Booking Terms & Conditions will apply.
A booking deposit will be required to secure all December appointments:
Your deposit will be deducted from your final treatment balance on the day of your appointment.

Please only book the treatments you fully intend to have.
When you book multiple services, I reserve the full appointment time specifically for those treatments and may have turned other clients away to accommodate your booking.
If you arrive on the day and decide to remove, reduce or significantly alter one or more treatments, the removed service will be treated as a late cancellation, rather than simply an amendment to your appointment.
The applicable cancellation charge may therefore apply to the treatment(s) removed.
I will always try to accommodate reasonable changes where possible; however, on-the-day treatment swaps cannot be guaranteed.
Different treatments require different appointment times, preparation, products and equipment, so please check your booking carefully when you receive your confirmation.
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Unfortunately, arriving late cannot extend your allocated appointment time as this would impact the clients booked after you.
Where necessary, your treatment may need to be shortened or a service removed. The original booking/cancellation terms may still apply to time or treatments that can no longer be completed.
Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in the loss of your booking deposit, and any additional cancellation/no-show charge agreed when booking may also apply.
Future appointments may require payment in advance.
December appointments are extremely limited and every space in my diary matters.
Please double-check your date, time and treatments when booking and give as much notice as possible if your circumstances change.
By paying your deposit and confirming your appointment, you acknowledge that you are reserving the full treatment selection and appointment time shown on your booking and agree to the December Booking Terms & Conditions.

Patch tests are required for all treatments involving tint, stain, lash lifting & brow lamination.
This needs to be done at least 48 hours before your treatment. This gives time to detect a potential allergy, giving your immune system time to respond.
If you've had patch testing carried out at an alternative salon and this is your first visit, a patch test is still required before treatment can be carried out.
Recent or current pregnancy, births, nursing, or a change in birth control can contribute to a change of hormones, which can heighten the risk of a reaction, so a patch test is recommended for these clients too.
If you are using skin acids such as retinol, we recommend not using them for 6 weeks prior to your appointment and signing a disclaimer form prior to treatment. This also applies to medication such as Roaccutane and Lymecycline.
No need to book, just call in on working days. Pop over a message beforehand so we know you're coming. Home kits can also be sent out or collected, with consent cards that must be returned at your appointment.
Waxing isn't suitable if you are taking any form of acne medication, oral or topical. These medications cause the skin to thin or become extra sensitive. Thin, sensitive skin will lift during waxing, leaving open flesh wounds.
Some medications & clinicians, if diagnosed appropriately, will advise avoiding waxing for up to one year after ending the term of medication before undertaking any form of waxing treatment.
It's important to be honest with yourself & your beauty therapist.
Hand sanitiser must be used prior to and after your appointment. This will be available at the salon.
